These 15-Minute Chili Tofu Noodles are the perfect quick and flavorful meal! The crispy tofu combined with spicy chili sauce and tender noodles makes for an easy, satisfying dish in just 15 minutes.

- 200g (7 oz) firm tofu, pressed and cubed
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil (or vegetable oil)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon chili garlic sauce (adjust to taste)
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup (or agave syrup)
- 200g (7 oz) noodles (your choice, such as rice noodles or soba)
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
- Fresh cilantro or green onions (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Start by cooking the noodles according to package instructions. Once done, drain and set aside.
- While the noodles cook, heat the sesame oil in a large pan or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the cubed tofu to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the tofu is crispy and golden brown on all sides.
- In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, chili garlic sauce, and maple syrup to create the chili sauce.
- Once the tofu is crispy, pour the chili sauce over the tofu and stir well to coat evenly.
- Add the cooked noodles to the pan with the tofu and toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and fresh cilantro or green onions if desired.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- For extra spice, you can add more chili garlic sauce or a dash of sriracha.
- Feel free to swap out the tofu for tempeh or add in vegetables like bell peppers, carrots, or bok choy for extra crunch.
