Description

These 2-Bite Pizza Pepper Poppers are a fun and tasty appetizer! Sweet mini bell peppers stuffed with savory pizza ingredients, baked to perfection. A great snack or party food that’s sure to impress!


Ingredients

  • 12 mini bell peppers, halved and seeds removed
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup mini pepperoni slices (or your favorite pizza topping)
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the Peppers:
    Slice the mini bell peppers in half and remove the seeds. Place the pepper halves on the prepared baking sheet, cut side up.
  3. Assemble the Poppers:
    Spoon about 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce into each pepper half. Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese and top with mini pepperoni slices. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning over the top.
  4. Bake the Poppers:
    Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the peppers are tender.
  5. Garnish & Serve:
    Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh basil if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
