- 12 mini bell peppers, halved and seeds removed
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup mini pepperoni slices (or your favorite pizza topping)
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. - Prepare the Peppers:
Slice the mini bell peppers in half and remove the seeds. Place the pepper halves on the prepared baking sheet, cut side up. - Assemble the Poppers:
Spoon about 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce into each pepper half. Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese and top with mini pepperoni slices. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning over the top. - Bake the Poppers:
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the peppers are tender. - Garnish & Serve:
Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh basil if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
