Description

Indulge in this decadent “A Slice of Heaven Cake,” made with chocolate cake soaked in sweetened condensed milk and caramel, topped with Cool Whip and candy. It’s a crowd-pleaser that brings rich flavors and delightful textures to any gathering!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package devil’s food chocolate or German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 jar caramel topping
  • 1 (8 oz) tub Cool Whip
  • 45 Snickers bars (or Skor, Heath bar, or mini Reese’s)

Instructions

  • Bake the Cake:
    • Prepare the cake mix according to the package directions and bake in a 9×13 inch pan.
    • Allow the cake to cool for about 5 minutes.
  • Poke Holes:
    • Using the handle of a wooden spoon, poke holes all over the cake.
  • Add Sweetened Condensed Milk and Caramel:
    • Let the cake cool for about 30 minutes until warm.
    • Slowly pour the sweetened condensed milk over the cake, allowing it to soak into the holes.
    • Drizzle the caramel topping over the cake.
  • Cool the Cake:
    • Let the cake cool completely. You can refrigerate it to speed up the cooling process, just be sure to cover it well.
  • Top with Cool Whip and Candy:
    • Once the cake is completely cooled, spread the Cool Whip evenly over the top.
    • Decorate with chopped Snickers bars (or your choice of candy) and drizzle more caramel on top.
  • Enjoy:
    • Serve and enjoy this decadent treat!

Notes

Make sure to let the cake soak long enough to absorb the sweetened condensed milk for maximum flavor.
