- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil

- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
- 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken: Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels. Rub them with olive oil, then set aside.
- Make the Asian Glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Marinate the Chicken: Pour half of the glaze over the chicken thighs and let them marinate for at least 15-30 minutes (or up to overnight in the refrigerator for more flavor). Reserve the remaining glaze for later use.
- Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Cook the Chicken: Place the marinated chicken thighs in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry for 18-20 minutes, flipping halfway through the cooking time, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and is golden brown and crispy on the outside.
- Glaze the Chicken: During the last 2 minutes of cooking, brush the reserved glaze onto the chicken thighs for extra flavor and a glossy finish.
- Garnish and Serve: Remove the chicken from the air fryer and sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onions. Serve immediately with your favorite sides.

- For extra flavor, add a squeeze of fresh lime juice over the chicken just before serving.
