Description

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

 

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash the sweet potatoes thoroughly and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  3. Rub each sweet potato with olive oil to coat the skin evenly.
  4. Sprinkle the sweet potatoes with salt and pepper.
  5. Place the sweet potatoes in the air fryer basket, ensuring they’re not overcrowded.
  6. Cook the sweet potatoes in the air fryer for 35-40 minutes, turning them halfway through the cooking time.
  7. Check the doneness by inserting a fork or knife into the center; it should go in easily. If the sweet potatoes are not yet tender, cook for an additional 5-10 minutes.
  8. Once done, remove the sweet potatoes from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes.
  9. Slice open and serve with your favorite toppings (butter, cinnamon, brown sugar, etc.) or enjoy as is.
