Description

These crispy and creamy Air Fryer Blueberry Cheesecake Wontons are a delightful dessert made with a rich cream cheese filling and sweet blueberry compote, all wrapped in a crispy wonton wrapper. Perfect for a quick treat with a touch of indulgence!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package wonton wrappers (about 1215 wrappers)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup blueberry compote (or blueberry jam)
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest (optional)
  • Cooking spray or oil for spraying the wontons

  • ¼ cup sugar (for coating, optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  2. Lay out the wonton wrappers on a clean surface. Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each wrapper.
  3. Top the cream cheese mixture with a small spoonful of blueberry compote.
  4. Brush the edges of the wonton wrapper with a little water, then fold the wrapper in half to form a triangle or seal the edges into an envelope shape. Press the edges to seal.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Lightly spray the wontons with cooking spray or brush with a little oil to help them crisp up.
  7. Arrange the wontons in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for 5-7 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  8. Once cooked, let them cool slightly before dusting with sugar (optional).
  9. Serve with extra blueberry compote or fresh berries if desired.

Notes

  • If you don’t have blueberry compote, blueberry jam or fresh blueberries cooked down with a bit of sugar can be used.

  • You can also try using other fruit compotes such as strawberry or raspberry for a different flavor.
