Description

Air Fryer Cheesy Egg Toast is a simple and delicious breakfast featuring toast topped with melted cheese and a perfectly cooked egg, all done quickly in the air fryer.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices bread (white, whole wheat, or your choice)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter, softened
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped chives or parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Butter one side of each bread slice.
  3. Place bread slices butter-side down on a clean surface.
  4. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over each slice.
  5. Make a small well in the center of the cheese on each slice and carefully crack an egg into each well.
  6. Season eggs with salt and pepper.
  7. Carefully place the prepared slices into the air fryer basket.
  8. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, or until the egg whites are set and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Remove carefully and garnish with chopped chives or parsley if desired.
  10. Serve immediately.
