Description

  • These Air Fryer Churro Pasta Chips are a delightful twist on the classic churro, offering a crispy, cinnamon-sugar-coated snack that’s both sweet and satisfying. Perfect for an afternoon treat or a fun dessert!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz (about 2 cups) pasta (such as rotini or farfalle)

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 1 tablespoon sugar

  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and return to the pot.

  2. Melt the butter and stir in the sugar and cinnamon until well combined.

  3. Pour the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the cooked pasta and toss to coat evenly.

  4. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).

  5. Place the coated pasta in a single layer in the air fryer basket.

  6. Air fry for 15–20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the pasta chips are golden and crispy.

  7. Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use browned butter instead of regular melted butter.

  • Ensure the pasta is well-coated with the cinnamon-sugar mixture for even flavor.

  • If you prefer a lighter version, substitute the butter with a light spray of cooking oil.
