Description

Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, these Air Fryer Churros are a delightful treat rolled in cinnamon sugar, perfect for dessert lovers.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Add the milk and salt, stirring continuously.
  • Reduce the heat to medium and bring to a boil, stirring with a wooden spoon.
  • Once boiling, add the flour all at once, stirring vigorously until a smooth dough forms.
  • Remove from heat and let cool for 5-7 minutes.
  • Stir in the eggs one at a time until fully incorporated.
  • Transfer the dough into a pastry bag fitted with a large star tip.
  • Pipe the dough into the air fryer basket, forming six equal strips.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 340°F. Cook the churros for 5 minutes until golden brown.
  • While cooking, mix sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  • Once done, roll the churros in the cinnamon sugar mixture to coat evenly.
