Ingredients

  • 4 cups cubed day-old bread (French bread, sourdough, or any bread of choice)

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (or to taste)

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • Optional: Grated Parmesan cheese for extra flavor


Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).

  2. In a large mixing bowl, toss the bread cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.

  3. Place the seasoned bread cubes in the air fryer basket in a single layer (you may need to do this in batches depending on the size of your air fryer).

  4. Air fry for 5-6 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking, until the croutons are golden brown and crispy.

  5. Remove the croutons from the air fryer and allow them to cool slightly before serving. If desired, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese while they’re still hot.
