Description

These Air Fryer Honey Garlic Steak Sweet Pepper Bites are a savory-sweet appetizer or main dish with tender steak, vibrant bell peppers, and a delicious honey garlic sauce. Perfect for quick meals, parties, or any time you’re craving something flavorful!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin steak or flank steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
  • 1 large bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces (any color)
  • 1 small red onion, cut into 1-inch pieces (optional)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the olive oil, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, honey, minced garlic, ground ginger, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir well to combine.
  2. Add the steak cubes to the marinade and toss to coat. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes, or up to 1 hour in the refrigerator for deeper flavor.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  4. Toss the bell pepper pieces and red onion (if using) with a little olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  5. Arrange the marinated steak cubes in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure there’s space between each piece.
  6. Air fry the steak at 400°F for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
  7. Add the bell peppers and onions to the air fryer basket and air fry for an additional 4-5 minutes, until the steak is cooked through and the peppers are tender but still crisp.
  8. Remove from the air fryer and serve hot. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
  9. Serve as an appetizer, over rice, or with a side of your favorite salad.

Notes

  • For a more tender steak, use cuts like flank steak, sirloin, or ribeye.
  • You can add other vegetables like zucchini, mushrooms, or cherry tomatoes to the air fryer for added flavor.
  • If you prefer more sweetness, drizzle extra honey over the steak bites after cooking.
  • For added flavor, squeeze a bit of fresh lemon juice over the steak and peppers before serving.
