Description

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ½ cup pepperoni slices

  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for brushing)

  • ½ tsp garlic powder (optional)

  • ½ tsp dried oregano (optional)

  • Marinara sauce or pizza sauce, for dipping (optional)


Instructions

  1. Prepare the dough:

    • Roll out the pizza dough on a flat surface. Use a rolling pin to flatten it into a rectangle or large square about ¼-inch thick.

  2. Assemble the rolls:

    • Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the dough, leaving a small border along the edges.

    • Place the pepperoni slices over the cheese, ensuring they are evenly distributed.

    • If desired, sprinkle garlic powder and dried oregano over the cheese and pepperoni for extra flavor.

    • Starting at one edge, roll the dough up tightly into a log or cylinder.

  3. Slice the rolls:

    • Slice the rolled dough into 1-inch thick pieces to form individual pepperoni rolls.

  4. Preheat the air fryer:

    • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes.

  5. Cook the rolls:

    • Lightly brush the air fryer basket with olive oil or spray it with cooking spray.

    • Place the pepperoni rolls in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching each other. You may need to cook in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.

    • Air fry the rolls at 375°F (190°C) for 8-10 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy on the outside.

  6. Serve:

    • Remove the rolls from the air fryer and let them cool slightly. Serve with marinara or pizza sauce for dipping, if desired.

Notes

  • If you prefer a spicier kick, you can add some crushed red pepper flakes or jalapeño slices inside the rolls.
