Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups Minute rice
  • 1 can of cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can of cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can of water (use one of the soup cans for measurement)
  • 1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Prepare the Casserole Dish: Lightly grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish with butter.
  • Mix the Ingredients: In a medium bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, Minute rice, and one can of water. Mix well until the rice is fully coated.
  • Assemble the Casserole: Pour the rice and soup mixture into the casserole dish and spread it evenly. Lay the chicken breasts on top, evenly spaced.
  • Add the Finishing Touches: Sprinkle the Lipton onion soup mix over the chicken.
  • Bake the Dish: Cover the casserole tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 45-50 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and the rice is tender.
