Description
Apple Nachos are a sweet, crunchy, and customizable treat featuring crisp apple slices drizzled with peanut butter, chocolate, and sprinkled with your favorite toppings. They’re perfect as a healthy snack, a kid-friendly dessert, or a fun party platter!
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 apples (Granny Smith, Fuji, or Honeycrisp), thinly sliced
- ¼ cup natural peanut butter or almond butter
- 2 tbsp chocolate chips or chocolate drizzle
- 2 tbsp granola or chopped nuts (like almonds, peanuts, or walnuts)
- 1 tbsp shredded coconut (optional)
- 1 tbsp mini marshmallows or raisins (optional)
- 1 tbsp honey or caramel sauce (optional)
- A squeeze of lemon juice (to prevent browning)
Instructions
- Wash and core apples. Thinly slice into wedges. Toss slices in a little lemon juice to prevent browning.
- Arrange apple slices in a circular or layered pattern on a large plate or platter.
- Warm peanut butter slightly in the microwave (10–15 seconds) to make it easier to drizzle.
- Drizzle peanut butter and melted chocolate over the apples.
- Sprinkle with granola, nuts, coconut, and other toppings of choice.
- Drizzle honey or caramel if using.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- Use seed butter for nut-free schools or allergy-friendly versions.
- Swap chocolate for yogurt drizzle for a lighter version.
- Best enjoyed fresh—apples will brown if left out for too long.
