- 1 can (12 oz) refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing
- 2 medium apples, peeled, cored, and diced
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Grease a 9ร9-inch baking dish.
- Cut cinnamon rolls into quarters and spread evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- In a bowl, combine diced apples, chopped pecans, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Sprinkle evenly over the cinnamon rolls.
- In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and vanilla extract.
- Pour egg mixture evenly over the cinnamon rolls and apple mixture.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, until golden brown and set in the center.
- Remove from oven and drizzle with icing from the cinnamon roll package.
- Let cool slightly before serving warm.
Notes
- Use your favorite variety of apples; Granny Smith or Honeycrisp work well.
- Add a handful of raisins or dried cranberries for extra sweetness.
- For a dairy-free version, substitute milk with almond or oat milk.
