Description

These Air Fryer Hot Chicken and Cheese Wraps are a deliciously easy way to enjoy a satisfying meal. Packed with spicy chicken and gooey cheese, these wraps are perfect for a quick lunch or dinner. Plus, the air fryer gives them a crispy texture without the extra oil, making them a healthier choice for any day of the week!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 4 large flour tortillas or wraps
  • Cooking spray or olive oil for brushing
  • Optional toppings: sliced green onions, ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping

Instructions

  • Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, and shredded cheese. Mix well to combine.
  • Assemble Wraps: Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spoon a generous amount of the chicken mixture onto the center of the tortilla. Fold in the sides and roll it up tightly. Repeat with the remaining tortillas.
  • Prepare for Air Frying: Lightly spray the wraps with cooking spray or brush with olive oil to help them crisp up.
  • Air Fry: Place the wraps in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they aren’t overcrowded. Cook for 10-12 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  • Serve: Remove from the air fryer and let cool for a couple of minutes. Slice in half and serve with optional toppings like ranch or blue cheese dressing.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, you can air fry the wraps a little longer, but keep an eye on them to prevent burning.
  • Customize the level of spiciness by adjusting the amount of buffalo sauce.
