Description
A quick and delicious wrap featuring crispy chicken, fresh Romaine lettuce, crunchy coleslaw, and a creamy honey-sesame dressing, all rolled up in a warm tortilla. Perfect for a satisfying lunch or dinner.
Ingredients
Scale
- For the Dressing:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- For the Wraps:
- 4 large crispy chicken strips
- 2 Romaine lettuce hearts
- 1 & 1/2 cups tri-colored coleslaw
- 1/4 cup chow mein noodles
- 2 tablespoons sliced almonds
- 4 large flour tortillas, warmed slightly
Instructions
- Air fry the chicken strips according to the package directions, then chop into small pieces.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, honey, vinegar, mustard, and sesame oil until creamy.
- Prepare the Romaine lettuce by trimming the ends, slicing it lengthwise into thirds, and then cutting it into ribbons.
- In a large bowl, combine the chicken, lettuce, coleslaw, chow mein noodles, and almonds. Pour the dressing over and mix to coat.
- Divide the mixture among the tortillas, roll them up, and optionally toast in a skillet until golden brown.
- Slice the wraps in half and serve.
Notes
- Try swapping the coleslaw with broccoli slaw for a variation.
- Omit the nuts and chow mein noodles for a simpler version.
- Use an Asian salad kit for convenience, but consider using the creamy honey-sesame dressing instead of vinaigrette.
