- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup Bailey’s Irish Cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8 inch baking pan or line with parchment paper.
- Melt butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar.
- Beat in eggs, one at a time, then add Bailey’s Irish Cream and vanilla extract.
- Sift together cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Gradually add to wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips if using.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool completely before slicing into squares.
