Description

Baked Churro Chips are a deliciously easy treat made from naan bread, baked until crispy and coated in cinnamon sugar. Paired with a rich chocolate ganache dip, these treats are perfect for game day, Valentine’s Day, or any sweet craving.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (60% cacao recommended)
  • 1 package Original Stonefire Naan (2 naan breads)
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  • Make the Chocolate Ganache: Place the heavy whipping cream and chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for about 2 minutes, then whisk until smooth. Chill or freeze the ganache for at least 30 minutes until it thickens but is not solid. If it thickens too much, microwave briefly to thin it out.
  • Prepare the Naan Chips: Place the naan breads on the prepared cookie sheet. Slice each naan into wedges or strips.
  • Bake the Chips: Bake the naan pieces for 12-14 minutes, flipping them halfway through until crunchy.
  • Cinnamon Sugar Coating: In a small bowl, mix cinnamon and sugar. While the naan pieces are warm, dip each in melted butter, then roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture. Return the coated churro chips to the cookie sheet.
  • Serve: Serve the baked churro chips warm or at room temperature with the chocolate ganache dip on the side.
