Description

These Baked Cranberry Turkey Sliders combine leftover turkey, creamy Havarti cheese, and tangy cranberry sauce, all sandwiched between soft slider buns. Brushed with a savory butter mixture, they’re baked to perfection, making for a delicious and easy meal or appetizer. Perfect for using up Thanksgiving leftovers or as a flavorful snack for gatherings!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 1/2 cups leftover turkey, sliced or shredded
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 68 slices Havarti cheese
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp poppy seeds
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  • Assemble the Sliders: Place the bottom halves of the slider buns in the prepared baking dish. Layer the turkey, cranberry sauce, and Havarti cheese on top of the buns, then cover with the top halves of the buns.
  • Prepare the Butter Mixture: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, Dijon mustard, poppy seeds, and Worcestershire sauce until well combined.
  • Brush the Sliders: Brush the butter mixture generously over the tops of the sliders.
  • Bake the Sliders: Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and continue to bake for another 5-10 minutes, or until the tops are golden and the cheese is melted.
  • Serve: Remove from the oven and let the sliders cool for a few minutes. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • If you have leftover cranberry sauce, this recipe is a perfect way to use it up.
  • You can make these sliders ahead of time by assembling them and storing them in the fridge before baking. Just bake them when you’re ready to serve.
  • Substitute Havarti with other cheeses like Swiss or cheddar, depending on your preference.
  • To make the sliders spicier, try adding a few dashes of hot sauce to the butter mixture.
  • These sliders are great for parties, potlucks, or a simple family meal.
