- 1 block feta cheese
- 1/2 cup Kalamata olives, pitted and chopped
- 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place the block of feta in the center of a small baking dish.
- Scatter chopped olives, sun-dried tomatoes, minced garlic, dried oregano, dried basil, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using) around the feta.
- Drizzle olive oil over the feta and toppings. Season with freshly ground black pepper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the feta is soft and begins to brown slightly around the edges.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh basil leaves, if desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider marinating the olives in olive oil and herbs before using them.
