Description

This Banana Cheesecake Parfait is a delicious and easy-to-make dessert layered with creamy cheesecake filling, fresh bananas, and a buttery graham cracker crust. A perfect sweet treat for any occasion!

Ingredients

Scale
  • For the Cheesecake Filling:

    • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
    • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
    • ½ cup powdered sugar
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract
    • 2 tbsp sour cream (optional, for extra creaminess)
  • For the Graham Cracker Crust:

    • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
    • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
    • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • For the Parfait Layers:

    • 2 ripe bananas, sliced
    • 12 tbsp honey (optional, for sweetness)
    • Whipped cream, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Graham Cracker Crust:

    • In a bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar until well combined.
    • Divide the mixture among serving glasses or bowls and press down to form an even layer at the bottom.
  2. Make the Cheesecake Filling:

    • In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
    • In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
    • Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture. Add sour cream, if using, and mix until combined.
  3. Assemble the Parfaits:

    • Add a layer of sliced bananas on top of the graham cracker crust in each glass.
    • Spoon or pipe a layer of cheesecake filling on top of the bananas.
    • Repeat the layers, ending with a layer of cheesecake filling on top.
  4. Chill and Serve:

    • Refrigerate the parfaits for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld and the cheesecake to firm up.
    • Before serving, drizzle with honey (if using) and top with whipped cream if desired.

Notes

  • To make it even more decadent, drizzle caramel sauce over the top of the parfaits.
  • You can add other fruits like strawberries or blueberries for variation.
  • These parfaits can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
