Ingredients
Scale
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
- 3 ripe bananas, sliced
- Additional whipped topping for garnish (optional)
- Shaved chocolate or additional graham cracker crumbs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Stir until evenly mixed, then press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish to form the crust.
- In another bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk. Let it set for about 2 minutes until it thickens.
- In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Add the vanilla extract and mix until fully incorporated.
- Fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture until well combined and smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the graham cracker crust in an even layer.
- Top with the vanilla pudding layer, spreading it evenly over the cream cheese mixture.
- Layer the sliced bananas on top of the pudding.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 3-4 hours, or overnight, to allow the layers to set and flavors to meld.
- Before serving, garnish with additional whipped topping, shaved chocolate, or extra graham cracker crumbs, if desired.
Notes
- Make sure the bananas are fresh and ripe for the best flavor and texture.
- For a fun twist, you can add a layer of caramel sauce or crushed nuts on top.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days, but the bananas may start to brown over time.
