  • 8 oz pasta (penne or rotini), cooked and drained
  • 1 cup broccoli florets (lightly steamed or blanched)
  • ½ cup red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup panko breadcrumbs (optional topping)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions (for garnish)
  • **For the bang bang sauce:**
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (or more to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar or lime juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together all bang bang sauce ingredients until smooth.
  3. In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta, chicken, broccoli, red bell pepper, and half the shredded cheese. Pour in the bang bang sauce and mix until evenly coated.
  4. Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Top with remaining cheese and sprinkle with panko if using.
  5. Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
  6. Remove from oven and let sit for 5 minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

  • You can use rotisserie chicken for quick prep.
  • For a spicier version, add extra sriracha or a pinch of red pepper flakes.
