Description

These juicy and flavorful chicken skewers are marinated in a tangy BBQ beer marinade, grilled to perfection for a smoky, tender bite. Perfect for summer grilling or a fun cookout!


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes

  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand)

  • ½ cup beer (lager or pale ale works best)

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard

  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Wooden or metal skewers


Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, whisk together BBQ sauce, beer, olive oil, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.

  2. Marinate the Chicken: Place the chicken cubes in a large resealable bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, making sure it’s evenly coated. Seal and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best flavor.

  3. Prepare the Skewers: Thread the marinated chicken onto the skewers, ensuring the pieces are evenly spaced.

  4. Grill the Skewers: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Grill the chicken skewers for 4-5 minutes per side, or until the chicken is cooked through and has grill marks.

  5. Serve: Serve the skewers with extra BBQ sauce for dipping and your favorite sides.

Notes

  • If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
