Description

Berries and Cream Filled Croissants are an irresistible blend of flaky, buttery croissants stuffed with a rich vanilla cream filling and topped with a medley of fresh berries. Perfect for brunch, dessert, or a special breakfast treat, they’re simple to assemble but look and taste like a gourmet bakery delight.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large croissants, halved horizontally
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup fresh mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for drizzling)
  • Extra powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese until fully combined and fluffy.
  3. Slice the croissants in half horizontally, without cutting all the way through, creating a pocket.
  4. Spoon or pipe the cream filling into each croissant.
  5. Top with fresh mixed berries. If desired, drizzle with honey or maple syrup for added sweetness.
  6. Dust lightly with powdered sugar for a beautiful finish.
  7. Serve immediately, or refrigerate for up to 2 hours before serving.

Notes

  • Use store-bought croissants for convenience, or bake your own for an extra touch of decadence.
  • If using strawberries, slice them thinly to fit better inside the croissants.
  • This recipe is easily doubled for a crowd or halved for a quick treat for two.
