Description
Big Mac Cheeseburger Bombs are savory, stuffed dough balls filled with seasoned beef, cheese, pickles, and special sauce — a handheld twist on the classic fast-food favorite.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 small onion, finely chopped
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar or American cheese
- 1/4 cup diced dill pickles
- 1 tube refrigerated biscuit dough (8 pieces)
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Special Sauce:
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp relish
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and onion until browned and cooked through. Season with salt and pepper. Let cool slightly.
- Mix the cooked beef with shredded cheese and diced pickles.
- Flatten each biscuit into a circle. Place a spoonful of beef mixture in the center and fold dough around it, pinching to seal.
- Place seam-side down on the baking sheet. Brush tops with egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden brown.
- While baking, whisk together the special sauce ingredients in a small bowl.
- Serve cheeseburger bombs warm with special sauce for dipping.
Notes
- Can be made ahead and reheated in the oven or air fryer.
- Use puff pastry or pizza dough instead of biscuit dough if preferred.
- For a spicy twist, add chopped jalapeños or pepper jack cheese.
