Description

This Big Mac Pizza combines all the delicious flavors of a Big Mac burger with the cheesy, crispy goodness of pizza! Topped with seasoned ground beef, pickles, onions, lettuce, and special sauce, it’s a fun and tasty twist on the classic fast food favorite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning or 1 tbsp hamburger seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup pickles, sliced
  • 1/4 cup onions, finely chopped
  • 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1/4 cup special sauce (recipe below or use Thousand Island dressing)

Special Sauce (optional):

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped pickles or relish
  • 1 tsp white vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and prepare your pizza dough by rolling it out on a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  2. Cook the Ground Beef: In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks. Drain excess fat. Add taco seasoning or hamburger seasoning to the meat and stir to combine. Set aside.
  3. Make the Special Sauce (Optional): In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickles, vinegar, paprika, salt, and pepper. Adjust seasonings to taste.
  4. Assemble the Pizza: Spread a thin layer of the special sauce (or Thousand Island dressing) over the pizza dough. Top with the cooked ground beef, followed by a mix of cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
  5. Bake the Pizza: Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Add Fresh Toppings: Once the pizza is baked, remove it from the oven. Top with sliced pickles, chopped onions, and shredded lettuce. Drizzle with more special sauce if desired.
  7. Serve: Slice and serve your Big Mac pizza hot for a fun and delicious twist on a classic favorite!

Notes

  • Feel free to add additional toppings like tomatoes or bacon for extra flavor!
  • For a more authentic Big Mac experience, try adding a few slices of American cheese to the pizza before baking.
  • You can use pre-made pizza dough or make your own if preferred.
  • If you prefer a thicker crust, you can use a deeper dish pizza pan for a thicker base.
