Description

These Bisquick Cinnamon Rolls are a quick and easy way to enjoy homemade cinnamon rolls without all the time and effort. With a soft, fluffy texture and a sweet cinnamon filling, these rolls are topped with a simple glaze for the perfect finishing touch. Great for breakfast, brunch, or as a treat any time of day!

Ingredients

Scale

For the rolls:

  • 2 cups Bisquick baking mix
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For the cinnamon filling:

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon

For the glaze:

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9-inch round baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the Bisquick baking mix, milk, sugar, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Stir until a soft dough forms.
  3. On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
  4. For the filling, spread the softened butter over the dough. Then sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon evenly over the butter.
  5. Starting from one edge, carefully roll the dough into a log. Slice the rolled dough into 8 even pieces.
  6. Arrange the cinnamon roll pieces in the prepared baking pan.
  7. Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
  8. While the rolls are baking, prepare the glaze by whisking together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl until smooth.
  9. Once the cinnamon rolls are done, remove them from the oven and drizzle the glaze over the warm rolls.
  10. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, you can add a bit of cream cheese to the glaze or use heavy cream instead of milk.
  • These cinnamon rolls are best served fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Reheat them in the microwave for a few seconds before serving.
  • Feel free to add chopped nuts or raisins to the filling for extra texture and flavor.
