Ingredients
Scale
For the rolls:
- 2 cups Bisquick baking mix
- 2/3 cup milk
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
For the cinnamon filling:
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
For the glaze:
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp milk
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9-inch round baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the Bisquick baking mix, milk, sugar, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Stir until a soft dough forms.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
- For the filling, spread the softened butter over the dough. Then sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon evenly over the butter.
- Starting from one edge, carefully roll the dough into a log. Slice the rolled dough into 8 even pieces.
- Arrange the cinnamon roll pieces in the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
- While the rolls are baking, prepare the glaze by whisking together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl until smooth.
- Once the cinnamon rolls are done, remove them from the oven and drizzle the glaze over the warm rolls.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- For a richer flavor, you can add a bit of cream cheese to the glaze or use heavy cream instead of milk.
- These cinnamon rolls are best served fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Reheat them in the microwave for a few seconds before serving.
- Feel free to add chopped nuts or raisins to the filling for extra texture and flavor.
