- 10 soft taco size flour tortillas
- 4–5 cups shredded chicken
- 1 packet of taco seasoning
- ½ cup water
- 15 ounce can of refried beans
- 1 cup shredded cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Warm your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Flavor the chicken: Season chicken with taco seasoning and water.
- Slice tortillas: Slice each tortilla into halves.
- Fill tortillas: In each tortilla half, place a bit of beans, chicken, and cheese at the center.
- Roll tortillas: Roll each half into a neat cone.
- Prepare dish: Coat a pie dish or skillet with nonstick spray. Position a small bowl in the center of the dish to guide your arrangement.
- Layer tortillas: Neatly layer the tortilla cones around the bowl, close together.
- Add cheese: Scatter half the cheese over the tortilla base.
- Layer more cones: Layer on the second set of cones and sprinkle the last of the cheese.
- Bake: Remove the bowl and let it bake for 20 minutes until melty.
- Serve: Serve with a central bowl of salsa as a dip.
