Description
Delightfully gooey and sweet, these Blueberry Cheesecake Rolls combine creamy cheesecake filling with fresh blueberries, all wrapped in buttery crescent roll dough. Perfect for breakfast or dessert!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package crescent roll dough
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Prep: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
- Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a flat surface and press the seams together to form a single sheet of dough.
- Filling: In a medium bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Spread this mixture evenly over the dough sheet.
- Toppings: Evenly sprinkle the blueberries over the cream cheese filling and add the lemon zest on top.
- Roll: Starting from the long edge, carefully roll the dough into a log and slice it into 8-10 equal rounds. Place the rounds cut side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and the dough is cooked through. Once baked, remove from the oven and allow the rolls to cool slightly.
- Finish: Dust the warm rolls with powdered sugar for a sweet finishing touch. Enjoy!
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding a pinch of cinnamon to the cream cheese filling.
