Description
Blueberry Pie Bombs are soft, golden biscuit bombs filled with gooey blueberry pie filling and finished with a sweet vanilla glaze. With just a few simple ingredients, these mini pie treats are perfect for breakfast, dessert, or snacking!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can (8-count) refrigerated biscuit dough (like Pillsbury Grands)
- 1 cup blueberry pie filling
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons melted butter (optional, for brushing)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Flatten each biscuit into a 4-inch circle.
- Spoon 1 tablespoon of blueberry pie filling into the center of each flattened biscuit.
- Carefully fold the edges around the filling and pinch to seal completely, forming a ball. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
- Brush the tops with melted butter if desired.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- While baking, whisk together powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk until smooth to make the glaze.
- Drizzle glaze over warm pie bombs and let set before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh or homemade blueberry filling if you prefer less sweetness.
- Add a pinch of lemon zest to the glaze for a citrusy twist.
- These are best served warm but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
- You can also air fry them at 350°F (175°C) for 8–10 minutes.
