Description

These Blueberry Yogurt Paw Treats are the perfect healthy snack for your furry friend! Made with simple, dog-safe ingredients like blueberries, yogurt, and a touch of honey, these treats are not only delicious but packed with nutrients. They’re easy to make and shaped into adorable paw prints, making them a fun way to pamper your pup.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (unsweetened, no artificial sweeteners)
  • 1/2 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 tbsp honey (optional, can be omitted for dogs with sugar concerns)
  • 1/4 cup water (for thinning, if necessary)
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil (optional, for added healthy fat)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Blueberries:
If using fresh blueberries, rinse them well. If using frozen blueberries, thaw them first.
  2. Blend the Ingredients:
In a blender or food processor, combine the Greek yogurt, blueberries, honey (if using), and coconut oil (if using). Blend until smooth. If the mixture is too thick, add a little water to reach a pourable consistency.
  3. Pour into Paw Molds:
Carefully pour the mixture into silicone paw print molds (or ice cube trays, if paw molds are unavailable). Tap the mold gently to remove any air bubbles.
  4. Freeze:
Place the molds in the freezer for at least 3 hours, or until the treats are fully frozen.
  5. Serve:
Once frozen, pop the treats out of the molds and serve to your dog. Store any leftover treats in an airtight container in the freezer.

Notes

  • You can use any type of silicone mold for these treats, but paw-shaped molds add a fun touch.
  • If your dog is lactose intolerant, you can substitute the Greek yogurt with a dairy-free alternative like coconut yogurt.
  • These treats can be stored in the freezer for up to 1 month.
