Description

Delicious and easy-to-make breakfast sliders featuring savory sausage patties, fluffy scrambled eggs, and melted cheese sandwiched between soft slider bunsโ€”perfect for a crowd or on-the-go breakfast.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 slider buns or small dinner rolls
  • 12 cooked sausage patties (store-bought or homemade)
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 12 slices cheddar cheese (or cheese of choice)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped chives or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
  2. Slice slider buns in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, whisk eggs with milk, salt, and pepper.
  4. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Pour in the egg mixture and cook, stirring gently, until scrambled and cooked through. Remove from heat.
  5. Place one sausage patty on each bottom bun.
  6. Divide scrambled eggs evenly over the sausage patties.
  7. Top each with a slice of cheese, then cover with the top halves of the slider buns.
  8. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 10-15 minutes, until cheese is melted and sliders are warmed through.
  9. Remove foil and bake an additional 2-3 minutes if you want the buns slightly toasted.
  10. Garnish with chopped chives or parsley if desired, then serve warm.

Notes

  • Use your favorite sausage type: breakfast sausage, spicy sausage, or even turkey sausage.
  • For a quicker version, use pre-cooked sausage patties and scrambled eggs from a package.
  • Try different cheeses like pepper jack, Swiss, or American for variety.
  • These sliders can be assembled ahead of time and baked just before serving.
