- 6 slices of bacon, cooked crispy
- 6 slices of cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon chopped green onions (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cut the slider buns in half, keeping the top and bottom halves together.
- In a skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Scramble the eggs and season with salt and pepper. Cook until soft and just set, then remove from heat.
- Place the bottom half of the slider buns in a baking dish. Layer each with scrambled eggs, a slice of bacon, and a slice of cheddar cheese.
- Top with the other half of the slider buns.
- Brush the top of each bun with the remaining butter and drizzle with maple syrup (if using).
- Cover with foil and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the buns are golden.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped green onions if desired.
- Serve warm and enjoy your breakfast sliders!
Notes
- Feel free to swap the bacon with sausage or even make it vegetarian by using avocado slices or sautéed mushrooms.
- You can assemble these sliders the night before and bake them in the morning for an easy breakfast!
- For a spicy kick, add a dash of hot sauce or jalapeños.
