Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 small slider buns
  • 6 large eggs
  • 6 slices of bacon, cooked crispy
  • 6 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped green onions (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut the slider buns in half, keeping the top and bottom halves together.
  3. In a skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Scramble the eggs and season with salt and pepper. Cook until soft and just set, then remove from heat.
  4. Place the bottom half of the slider buns in a baking dish. Layer each with scrambled eggs, a slice of bacon, and a slice of cheddar cheese.
  5. Top with the other half of the slider buns.
  6. Brush the top of each bun with the remaining butter and drizzle with maple syrup (if using).
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the buns are golden.
  8. Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped green onions if desired.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy your breakfast sliders!

Notes

  • Feel free to swap the bacon with sausage or even make it vegetarian by using avocado slices or sautéed mushrooms.
  • You can assemble these sliders the night before and bake them in the morning for an easy breakfast!
  • For a spicy kick, add a dash of hot sauce or jalapeños.
