- 1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
- 1/3 cup sunflower seeds or chopped almonds (optional)
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sugar or honey
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine broccoli, red onion, cheddar cheese, bacon, and sunflower seeds.
- In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, and sugar (or honey) until smooth and creamy.
- Pour the dressing over the broccoli mixture and toss until everything is well coated.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to blend.
