Description

These Buffalo Chicken Bombs are bite-sized, flavor-packed delights with tender chicken coated in spicy buffalo sauce, wrapped in a crispy crescent roll crust. Perfect for game day, parties, or as a savory snack, they’re a fun twist on traditional buffalo wings, loaded with cheesy goodness and a spicy kick!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded (about 2 large chicken breasts)
  • ½ cup buffalo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon ranch seasoning (optional, for extra flavor)
  • 1 package (8 oz) crescent roll dough
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Ranch or blue cheese dressing (for dipping, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat the oven to 375ºF (190ºC). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. Prepare the Chicken Filling:
    • In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, and ranch seasoning (if using). Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.
  3. Assemble the Buffalo Chicken Bombs:
    • Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a clean surface and separate the dough into 8 triangles (following the perforated lines).
    • Place a generous spoonful of the buffalo chicken mixture in the center of each dough triangle.
    • Carefully fold the dough around the filling, pinching the edges together to seal the chicken inside, forming a “bomb.”
  4. Bake the Buffalo Chicken Bombs:
    • Arrange the filled dough bombs on the prepared baking sheet.
    • Brush the tops of the bombs with the melted butter to help them crisp up.
    • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and the dough is cooked through.
  5. Serve:
    • Once the buffalo chicken bombs are done, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly.
    • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.

Notes

  • You can adjust the level of spiciness by using more or less buffalo sauce. For a milder version, use a buffalo sauce with a lower heat or mix it with a little bit of ranch dressing.
  • If you prefer a crispier texture, you can air fry these at 375ºF for about 8-10 minutes instead of baking.
  • These can be made ahead of time and refrigerated before baking. Simply bake as directed when ready to serve.
