Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded (about 2 large chicken breasts)
- ½ cup buffalo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon ranch seasoning (optional, for extra flavor)
- 1 package (8 oz) crescent roll dough
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Ranch or blue cheese dressing (for dipping, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat the oven to 375ºF (190ºC). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- Prepare the Chicken Filling:
- In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, and ranch seasoning (if using). Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.
- Assemble the Buffalo Chicken Bombs:
- Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a clean surface and separate the dough into 8 triangles (following the perforated lines).
- Place a generous spoonful of the buffalo chicken mixture in the center of each dough triangle.
- Carefully fold the dough around the filling, pinching the edges together to seal the chicken inside, forming a “bomb.”
- Bake the Buffalo Chicken Bombs:
- Arrange the filled dough bombs on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the tops of the bombs with the melted butter to help them crisp up.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and the dough is cooked through.
- Serve:
- Once the buffalo chicken bombs are done, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
Notes
- You can adjust the level of spiciness by using more or less buffalo sauce. For a milder version, use a buffalo sauce with a lower heat or mix it with a little bit of ranch dressing.
- If you prefer a crispier texture, you can air fry these at 375ºF for about 8-10 minutes instead of baking.
- These can be made ahead of time and refrigerated before baking. Simply bake as directed when ready to serve.
