This creamy, spicy, and utterly addictive Buffalo Chicken Dip features tender chicken, tangy cream cheese, and the perfect kick from Frank’s Buffalo Sauce. Ideal for game day, parties, or just satisfying your cravings, this dip is sure to be a hit!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken (rotisserie chicken works great)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing (depending on preference)
  • 3/4 cup Frank’s RedHot Buffalo Sauce (or to taste)
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or a blend of cheddar and mozzarella)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)
  • Tortilla chips, celery sticks, or carrot sticks (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the Dip:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, ranch dressing (or blue cheese), Frank’s Buffalo Sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the Chicken and Cheese:
Stir in the shredded chicken and 1 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese (reserve the other 1/2 cup for topping). Mix until everything is well incorporated.
  4. Bake the Dip:
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish (such as an 8×8-inch dish or a similar size). Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  5. Bake and Melt:
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the dip is hot and bubbly and the cheese is melted and golden brown.
  6. Garnish and Serve:
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired. Serve with tortilla chips, celery sticks, or carrot sticks for dipping.

Notes

  • For a spicier dip, add more Frank’s Buffalo Sauce to taste.
  • You can make this dip in advance by preparing it and refrigerating it until you’re ready to bake. Just let it come to room temperature before baking.
  • To make it more cheesy, mix in more shredded cheese before baking.
