Description

These Buffalo Chicken Sliders are perfect for game days, parties, or a fun weeknight meal! Packed with shredded chicken tossed in spicy buffalo sauce, melted cheese, and served on soft slider buns, they’re a crowd-pleaser that combines flavor and ease.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Sliders:

  • 23 cups shredded cooked chicken (rotisserie chicken works well)
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce (such as Frank’s RedHot)
  • 12 slider buns (Hawaiian rolls work great)
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing (for drizzling)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon parsley (optional, for garnish)

Optional Toppings:

  • Lettuce
  • Sliced pickles
  • Thinly sliced red onion

Instructions

  • Prepare the Chicken:
    • Shred the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
    • In a large bowl, mix the shredded chicken with the buffalo sauce until fully coated.
  • Assemble the Sliders:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Slice the slider buns in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
    • Spread the buffalo chicken mixture evenly over the bottom halves. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the chicken.
    • Place the top halves of the buns on top.
  • Bake the Sliders:
    • Brush the melted butter over the tops of the slider buns and sprinkle with parsley if desired.
    • Cover loosely with foil and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
  • Serve:
    • Drizzle ranch or blue cheese dressing over the sliders or serve on the side for dipping.
    • Add optional toppings like lettuce, pickles, or red onion for extra crunch.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, try mixing a bit of ranch dressing into the buffalo sauce before coating the chicken.
  • These sliders can be made ahead of time and baked just before serving.
