Description

A spicy, tangy, and utterly satisfying dish featuring tender chicken coated in a bold buffalo sauce. Perfect for serving as a main dish, appetizer, or on top of a salad!


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the chicken in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until the chicken is golden brown. It doesn’t need to be fully cooked yet.
  4. Transfer the partially cooked chicken to a baking dish.
  5. In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the buffalo sauce and stir to combine. Pour the buffalo sauce mixture over the chicken.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  7. Once cooked, remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired, and serve hot. Enjoy!

Notes

  • You can adjust the spiciness of the dish by adding more or less buffalo sauce.
  • For a milder version, use a mix of buffalo sauce and ranch or blue cheese dressing in the sauce.
