- 1/2 cup hot sauce (Frankโs RedHot is a popular choice)
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional, for extra flavor)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Once melted, add the hot sauce, white vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika (if using), salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and allow the sauce to cool slightly before using. Toss with freshly cooked chicken wings or store in an airtight container for later use.
Notes
- For extra heat, increase the amount of hot sauce or add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
