Description

These adorable Bunny Butt Oreo Balls are a fun and festive treat, perfect for Easter! Made with creamy Oreo filling, dipped in white chocolate, and decorated to look like little bunny butts, these cute desserts will be a hit at any holiday celebration or party. They’re easy to make and even more fun to eat!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (14.3 oz) Oreo cookies (about 36 cookies)
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips (for coating)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil (for thinning the chocolate, optional)
  • 12 mini marshmallows
  • 12 regular-size marshmallows
  • Pink sprinkles or edible glitter (for decoration)
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional, for bunny “paws” details)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the filling: In a food processor, pulse the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs. In a large bowl, mix the Oreo crumbs with softened cream cheese until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  2. Form the balls: Roll the Oreo mixture into 12 balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Set aside.
  3. Melt the white chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth. If the chocolate is too thick, add a little vegetable oil to thin it out.
  4. Dip the Oreo balls: Dip each Oreo ball into the melted white chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated. Place the dipped balls back onto the parchment paper.
  5. Make the bunny butts: To create the bunny’s “butt,” use a mini marshmallow for the tail. Dip the marshmallow into a bit of melted white chocolate, then place it on top of the Oreo ball. For the paws, dip regular-size marshmallows into white chocolate and attach them to the sides of the Oreo ball.
  6. Add decoration: Before the chocolate sets, sprinkle pink sprinkles or edible glitter on the mini marshmallow tail for a cute bunny effect. For more details, you can pipe small chocolate paw prints using melted chocolate on the regular marshmallows.
  7. Chill: Refrigerate the Bunny Butt Oreo Balls for about 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to harden before serving.
  8. Serve: Once set, serve your adorable Bunny Butt Oreo Balls as a fun and festive treat!

Notes

  • If you want to get creative, you can use different types of chocolate for the coating, such as milk or dark chocolate.
  • These Oreo balls can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
  • For a more realistic bunny look, you can use pink candy melts or frosting for the paws.
