Description

Butter Toffee Pretzels are a delightful blend of salty and sweet, perfect for any snack lover. These pretzels are coated in a rich toffee mixture and sprinkled with crunchy toffee bits, making them an irresistible treat. Easy to make and perfect for sharing, these pretzels are sure to become a favorite.


Ingredients

  • 10 cups (one 16 oz bag) mini pretzel twists
  • 1 cup lightly packed light brown sugar
  • ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, cubed
  • ¼ cup light corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 bag Heath toffee bits

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 200°F. Lightly grease a large roasting pan with cooking spray and add the pretzels; set aside.
  • In a medium saucepan, combine brown sugar, cubed butter, and corn syrup. Bring to a boil over medium heat, boiling for 5 minutes while stirring constantly.
  • Remove from heat and whisk in vanilla extract and baking soda; the mixture will bubble.
  • Pour the toffee mixture evenly over the pretzels and sprinkle half of the toffee bits over the mixture. Toss to coat evenly.
  • Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
  • Spread the mixture onto a wax paper-lined countertop and sprinkle with remaining toffee bits. Let it cool for about 1 hour before breaking into clusters.
