- 10 cups (one 16 oz bag) mini pretzel twists
- 1 cup lightly packed light brown sugar
- ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, cubed
- ¼ cup light corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 bag Heath toffee bits
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200°F. Lightly grease a large roasting pan with cooking spray and add the pretzels; set aside.
- In a medium saucepan, combine brown sugar, cubed butter, and corn syrup. Bring to a boil over medium heat, boiling for 5 minutes while stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and whisk in vanilla extract and baking soda; the mixture will bubble.
- Pour the toffee mixture evenly over the pretzels and sprinkle half of the toffee bits over the mixture. Toss to coat evenly.
- Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
- Spread the mixture onto a wax paper-lined countertop and sprinkle with remaining toffee bits. Let it cool for about 1 hour before breaking into clusters.
