- 1/2 cup Butterfinger candy bars, chopped into small pieces
- 1/2 cup caramel bits (or caramel baking chips)
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (optional, for extra sweetness)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped Butterfinger candy, caramel bits, and mini chocolate chips (if using).
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll into balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheets about 2 inches apart.
- Flatten each dough ball slightly with the back of a spoon or your fingers.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are set.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- If you can’t find caramel bits, you can chop up caramel candies into small pieces and use them instead.
- For a richer flavor, try adding a sprinkle of sea salt on top of the cookies before baking.
