Description

These Butterfinger Caramel Crunch Cookies are a sweet and chewy treat with a delightful crunch! Packed with chunks of Butterfinger candy bars and rich caramel flavor, these cookies are the perfect indulgence for candy lovers. A fun twist on classic chocolate chip cookies that’s sure to impress!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Butterfinger candy bars, chopped into small pieces
  • 1/2 cup caramel bits (or caramel baking chips)
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (optional, for extra sweetness)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Fold in the chopped Butterfinger candy, caramel bits, and mini chocolate chips (if using).
  • Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll into balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheets about 2 inches apart.
  • Flatten each dough ball slightly with the back of a spoon or your fingers.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are set.
  • Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • If you can’t find caramel bits, you can chop up caramel candies into small pieces and use them instead.
  • For a richer flavor, try adding a sprinkle of sea salt on top of the cookies before baking.
  • These cookies can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days, or you can freeze them for up to 3 months.
