Description

Butterfinger Reese’s Fudge is a decadent dessert combining creamy white chocolate and vanilla frosting with crunchy Butterfinger bits and mini Reese’s Pieces. This easy-to-make treat is perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth and makes a great addition to any dessert table.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 (16 ounce) container vanilla frosting
  • 1 cup Butterfinger baking bits, divided
  • 1 cup mini Reese’s Pieces, divided

Instructions

  • Prepare the Pan: Line an 8×8-inch pan with foil or parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal.
  • Melt Chocolate and Butter: Place the white chocolate chips and butter in a saucepan over low to medium heat. Stir continuously until the mixture is melted and creamy.
  • Heat the Frosting: Remove the metal liner from the vanilla frosting container. Microwave the frosting for 30 seconds and then stir.
  • Combine Ingredients: Pour the warmed frosting into the melted chocolate and butter mixture. Stir until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  • Cool Slightly: Let the mixture cool for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent it from setting too quickly.
  • Add Candy: Quickly stir in 3/4 cup of Butterfinger baking bits and 3/4 cup of mini Reese’s Pieces.
  • Pour and Top: Pour the mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly. Sprinkle the remaining Butterfinger bits and Reese’s Pieces on top, pressing them in gently.
  • Cool Completely: Allow the fudge to cool completely at room temperature or in the refrigerator.
  • Cut and Store: Once the fudge is set, lift it out of the pan using the overhang and cut into 36 pieces. Store in a sealed container.

Notes

  • Cooling: Ensure the fudge is fully cooled before cutting to avoid it falling apart.
  • Variations: Experiment with other types of candy or add a swirl of peanut butter for a different flavor.
