Description

This creamy, flavorful Cajun Crab and Shrimp Dip is a delightful blend of tender crab meat and succulent shrimp, smothered in a rich cheese and cream base. Perfect for gatherings, this dip is best served warm with your favorite crackers or veggies.

  • 1 cup crab meat, picked over for shells
  • 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream until smooth.
  • Stir in the Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, hot sauce (if using), and lemon juice.
  • Fold in the crab meat, shrimp, green onions, cheddar cheese, and Parmesan cheese.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and golden on top.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm with crackers, toasted bread, or fresh veggies.
