Description

This Cajun Salmon and Shrimp dish combines spicy Cajun flavors with perfectly cooked seafood for a delightful meal. It can be prepared in the oven or on the grill for a delicious and satisfying dinner.


Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven/Grill:
    • Oven: Preheat to 400°F (200°C).
    • Grill: Heat to medium-high.
  • Prepare Ingredients:
    • Rub the Cajun seasoning evenly over the salmon fillets and shrimp.
  • Cook the Salmon:
    • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
    • Add salmon fillets to the skillet, skin-side down, and cook for 4-5 minutes. Flip and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  • Cook the Shrimp:
    • In the same skillet, add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  • Baking Method (if using oven):
    • Place the salmon and shrimp on a baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until cooked through.
  • Finish:
    • Drizzle with lemon juice and garnish with fresh parsley.
  • Serve:
    • Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.
