Description

This Caramel Apple Cinnamon Roll Dump Cake is the ultimate comfort dessert. With layers of spiced apples, gooey caramel, and buttery cinnamon rolls, it’s the perfect easy treat for fall or any time you want something sweet and satisfying!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (21 oz) apple pie filling
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce (plus extra for drizzling)
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Spread the apple pie filling evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg, and drizzle with 1/4 cup caramel sauce.
  3. Unroll the cinnamon rolls and cut each one into quarters. Scatter the cinnamon roll pieces evenly over the apple mixture.
  4. Drizzle the melted butter over the cinnamon roll pieces and sprinkle with chopped nuts (if using).
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the cinnamon rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Remove from the oven and drizzle with the icing from the cinnamon rolls and additional caramel sauce. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • If you prefer, you can use homemade apple filling or canned cinnamon apples for a more personalized touch.
  • For an extra indulgent treat, top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream before serving.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Reheat in the microwave for a few seconds to warm it up.
