- 3 cups cold milk
- 8 oz whipped topping (Cool Whip), thawed
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 3–4 medium apples, peeled and diced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 sleeves graham crackers
- 1 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the instant pudding mix and cold milk until smooth and thickened, about 2 minutes.
- Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping, cinnamon, and nutmeg until fully combined.
- In a small bowl, toss the diced apples with lemon juice to prevent browning.
- In a 9×13-inch baking dish, arrange a single layer of graham crackers, breaking them as needed to fit.
- Spread half of the pudding mixture over the graham crackers. Evenly sprinkle half of the diced apples over the pudding layer.
- Add another layer of graham crackers on top, followed by the remaining pudding mixture and apples.
- For the final layer, add another layer of graham crackers and pour the caramel sauce over the top, spreading it evenly.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow the graham crackers to soften.
- Slice and serve chilled.

For best results, chill overnight to enhance the flavors and texture.
