Instructions

  • Prepare the Brownie Base:
    Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan with butter or non-stick spray and line the bottom with parchment paper. Prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and bake according to the package instructions, usually around 20-25 minutes. Let the brownies cool completely in the pan.
  • Make the Cheesecake Layer:
    Reduce the oven temperature to 325°F (160°C). In a large mixing bowl, blend the softened cream cheese and sugar together until smooth. Add the vanilla extract and eggs, mixing well after each addition. Next, mix in the sour cream and heavy cream, blending until smooth and creamy.
  • Add the Caramel Swirl:
    Drizzle 1/2 cup of caramel sauce over the cheesecake layer. Using a knife or a skewer, gently swirl the caramel into the cheesecake filling to create a marbled effect.
  • Bake the Cheesecake:
    Pour the cheesecake batter over the cooled brownie base. Bake for 55-65 minutes or until the center of the cheesecake is set but still slightly jiggly when shaken. Let the cheesecake cool gradually in the oven with the door ajar for about 1 hour.
  • Chill and Garnish:
